Green Tea, every day!

Hi everyone! Good Morning!  I hope your day is beginning well and you already wearing a smile on your face!  I have one, a smile, I look for and cherish every moment in a day that brings me a smile. A good friend calling me or the sun peeking in under the window shade is enough to bring a smile that will last all day. All last summer I stayed in our national forest in my RV, a dream of mine.  I got to, not had to, wake up to the sunrise every morning! I would smile all day for that one moment.  I got to see so much wild life and beautiful scenes on my summer adventures!  If you go to my website the blog picture is one of those very sunrises that gave me a smile and still does every time I see it.  We are meant to be happy, I know this to be true because we are at are healthiest when we are happy.   Let me teach you how to be happy and enjoy your life.  One of the things that is vital to your happiness is your health. Today, I will be talking about how your health effects every part of your world and visa versa.

Please take a look at my sponsors site.  They offer an amazing selection of great teas, I love!
Mind, body and soul has to work together and be given equal amount of time in order to stay in balance.  You health is a vital part of this. Every adult knows that owns a vehicle that you must give your car the proper amounts of oil, water and fuel in order for it to work properly. If one of these things are neglected the whole engine begins to wear down and eventually will break. Agreed? If you put the wrong fuel in your vehicle it will not run properly either. Well, our bodies are the same way, if we put the wrong type of gas in our car, for instance diesel in a gas motor, it will not run anymore.  If you put sugar in the human body that is not meant to have it, it will eventually breakdown.  We see this with America’s rampant cases of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and many other diseases that are caused by the addictive properties of sugar. We are not genetically made to consume foods that are readily available to us today. I know this to be true because once I changed my diet I am healthy now.  I also had to change many other things in my life as well. Such as stress and learning to be happy and taking time out for myself, like meditation. I also had to maintain a fair amount of physical activity in this scenario. All of which I will touch on later and how it helped me be more healthy and to live a more vibrant life.

Today we’re going to talk about just one thing that will cause a significant difference in your life if you choose to do it. Remember your health is important part of your well-being and your happiness. If you are not healthy you cannot take care of yourself or anyone else. If you are like me, as adults, we all have responsibilities and others to take care. Whether it is employees, family members, children or just customers at work, you are taking care of someone.  If you are unhealthy you cannot do your job or take care of your responsibilities to the best of your ability, whatever it may be. If you cannot do your job, that affects your success. Your success affects your pocketbook and then you say you can afford to be healthy. See how it is a vicious cycle. Get healthy = clearer mind, more energy, work harder, better decision-making, more success, less stress, a happy healthy life.

Many times in my life I have become ill or had an episode with MS that corresponded to a life changing event such as my divorce, or time when my sister and my dad died in the same month….A heart breaking story I will tell you about later. The things that happen to us, the everyday stresses, from our world cannot be handled without proper nutrition. For me the effects were much worst because of the MS and the MS was acerbated because of poor nutrition.  These two things STRESS (mind) and POOR NUTRITION (body) would often throw me into an episode, then my life was in danger again and my children would be left without a mother.  An episode of MS consist of horrible pain, loss of weight, sight, cognitive abilities, brain fog, my legs would stop working, and more, to varying degrees of severity. Depending much on the stress that I was under at time.  My job was very demanding and I often drank soda, coffee and ate out every day.  Our bodies crave the fast energy of sugar, caffeine and a high carb diet because we no longer offer our body, our temple,  the proper nutrition it craves.  So our bodies over consume these fast energy sources with little to no nutritional value, causing us to gain weight and become more lethargic in our lives. Remember what conditions effects our body, effects our mind and soul as well... throwing us out of balance.  I learned that it is much easier to deal with life, if your body and brain are fed the proper nutrition to fight the effects of stress and illness. Changing your diet is
not an easy road to travel but once you’ve been on it for a while things begin to look better, pretty quickly.

With proper nutrition you will be able to continue your life without much interruption from stress. You will let the stress run of off your back like water on a duck!  You will be able to think clearer and reason better, which is a major factor when dealing with stress.  You will have vitality instead of fatigue and energy instead of exhaustion.  You will be able to let stress melt away and be able to see a future instead of a disaster. Can you imagine that? IF you can’t imagine that then I am glad you are reading this! Be sure to stay tuned for more stress relieving tips.

A big part of my life is green tea.  Yes, Green tea. It works!  With
green tea as a regular part of my stress free diet. Just adding this one thing to your diet can make a huge difference.  Try it!

Green tea boasts several health benefits and is considered as one of the world's healthiest drinks. Here are a few benefits of
drinking green tea every day.  Green tea ranks as high as and even more than most fruits and vegetable for the ORAC value. Oxygen radical absorbency capacity which ranks the antioxidant potential of plant based foods. I drink 3 or more cups of Green tea every day. You can make several brewings for one tea bag.  After the first brew there is far less, to no, caffeine in consecutive brews.  So if you prefer no caffeine throw out the first brew. Although Small amounts of caffeine can be beneficial to our health, not 3 pots of coffee a day, People.  If you are doing this please contact me immediately! I can help!

Stay away from store bought, bottle teas. They contain too much sugar and calories, as much as a soda in some cases!

Green tea helps with stress and mental alertness.

Oolong tea is my favorite and the one I drink the most of....

Green tea and Oolong especially boosts metabolism, helping you burn fat faster. Its unique antioxidant and caffeine combination ignites raises your metabolism for up to 2 hours after drinking it. It also contains polyphenols that help block
fat-building enzymes. Studies have shown that drinking oolong tea has led to sustained weight loss and a smaller waist size. But do not to overload your tea with sugar, you know why!   Stevia is awesome and a great sugar substitute! More on sugars and sugar substitutes later.

Green tea contains a phytonutrient called EGCG that increases the hormone CCK, which is responsible for creating the feeling of being full! So I suggest drink green tea before a meal and when ever getting that unreasonable urge to snack
inappropriately.  Have a cup of green tea with a teaspoon of honey on empty stomach in the morning and be amazed at the changes.  If you want a flat stomach, have four cups of green tea every day with a teaspoon of coconut oil in the first 3
cups before a meal.  (more on the great properties of coconut oil later) With the right amount of exercise and following a healthy diet, make it a ritual to drink a minimum of four cups to fight your belly fat.  Drinking green tea will help curb soda cravings.

Promotes longevity: Polyphenols also prevent aging and promote longevity.

Promotes clean healthy breath. Green tea helps keep your breath smelling sweet because it is full of polyphenols powerful antioxidants that stop plaque from clinging to your teeth. Plaque build-up leads to bad breath, among other dental problems.
Studies have also found polyphenols inhibit the growth of bacteria in the mouth, thus minimizing the foul-smelling compounds that those bacteria produce. By reducing Plaque you could be reducing cavities.

Keeps you hydrated: This is so true! I love green tea for this especially living in a high desert where no matter how much water you drink you still feel dry!  This effect carries over to my skin too… it is softer and more hydrated which means
less wrinkle people!

Even if you are not someone who drinks water at regular intervals, drink a cup of green tea throughout the day to helps you
stay hydrated.

On a final note, one last thing to remember when drinking tea. I have found information about the cancer causing chemical
epichlorohydrin  a bonding agent that is use in tea bags to make them stiffer and resistant to tears.  However this agent causes cancer in mice!  Most tea companies use these bags.  Here is a link to great article that explains what is going on better than I can. Link.  My recommendation is cut open tea and put into a metal tea bag device. These are sold at any health store and can be order where you order your tea.  I have included a store that I like for your pleasure in ordering tea.  They have several choices for green tea.  Pick your flavor and enjoy! In conclusion I hope you try my Green tea tip and I would love to hear your results if you do try it!

Embrace your Life

My blog

Today’s the day I write my first blog for my business “embrace your life” I’m very excited!

I remember the very day that I thought of the name “embrace your
life” I was driving down the road and I was thinking about my day, as I usually
do on my way to work. I had my recorder out and in my hand,
trying to think of a name, for the book, I was going to write about my
life.  I wanted to write this book
because I wanted to help other people. I felt with everything that I have been
through, that if I could do it, anyone could do it, with a some guidance and
help. I Remember the exact moment and place as I was driving and what I was
thinking.  I wanted to teach people
to love their lives. To WANT to be in THEIR own life. To be proud of their life
and accomplishments. To be able to enjoy every single moment of their life. When
you have come close to death as I have on several occasions, it really does make
you appreciate things and the ones you love, in this wonderful life.  The Small stuff, you just don’t sweat
anymore. And the big stuff, are all the moments that you have a smile on your
face.  And if you’re not happy or
satisfied in what you call your life, well, is time to change.  You
need to do it for yourself and your family. Whether you know it or not you are a
leader.   If you are a mom or
dad or big sister, you get the point, then you are a leader. There are people
watching you, every move you take, every example that you make. So let’s work on
those moves!  If it’s not a good
move at least let’s learn from it and get better for the next time you have to
dance that dance!  We all make
mistakes and it is likely to happen again, so you will have plenty of practice
to get it right.  Just remember
“the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again in the
same way but expecting a different result” Albert
Einstein.

The only way that you can do this, to change, is to embrace your
life” Stacey Ainslie.

I am truly happy that I’m here today.

I thought this would be a fitting place to begin my story.....
I was sitting in a restaurant today with a good friend and we
were talking about life-and-death and how his culture doesn’t really value a
long life. They were raised to know that life could end at any moment and
usually around age 40 –ish. But they were not taught to value all the moments
of their life or want more moments. Having come so close to death myself, on
more than one occasion, I am so thankful that I here. I am very happy to be
here, even though every day might not be the best, I’m still here. I still get
to enjoy my kids. To be there with them to help them through their trials and
their tribulation. It is because of my children that I am here today.

I have MS. Multiple sclerosis. And if it wasn’t for my children,
I would have killed myself. The pain was so unbearable for weeks at a time when
I was in my late 20s, that if I did not have children, I would’ve ended it. I do
not believe in suicide, At all. I believe that you should fight to the very last
moment. But, I do understand why cancer patients want to kill themselves because
of the pain. How very well do I understand.(I am not in pain from MS now, more
on that later, how I conquered MS. ) If it wasn’t for my children I would not
have fought so hard to live and be there for them.  So
this was an odd concept to me. Knowing that you are going to die at age 40, so,
eat, drink and be merry until you die, this is the best way I can describe the
concept that my friend was explaining to
me.

In his culture people die shortly after 40 years of age. And they
know this. So they accept this. This man is 72 years old.  So
I said to him “why, what did you do different?” After we talked for a while it
turns out that unlike people in his culture he “inadvertently received fair
amounts of exercise throughout his life and recently in the last 10 years he has
started to live a healthier life”. Which is not the norm for the people of his
culture. He had plenty of cardio and actually ran several miles a day. He ate
healthy and is now at the ripe old age of 72 years.
He doesn’t look 72 either, folks. After talking to him for a while I
proposed my plans to start a new fitness program geared specifically towards
people of his culture. Using him as a good example, of course, of living a good,
healthy, clean life with mind body and soul intact.

He is 72 and making changes to his life to live longer in a
culture where this is not defined. And even though he tells me he’s prepared to
die at any moment, he is happy, he is here
today.

Embrace your life, love your life, be the change in your life. If
you do these things everything else will fall into place. I know this to be a
fact. Today’s the day I start to talk about and to teach you how to live a
healthy life where you can embrace your mind body and soul to become one person.
You. Happy YOU.

I can help you on your way to a happy and healthy life through my
many programs and seminars. Instead of writing a book I’m writing a program for
a healthier you. It is not a cookie-cutter program. It is designed specifically
for your needs and wants in your life.

Are you looking for new job?
Are you unhappy in a relationship? Kids, parents, spouse,  girlfriend? Any of these?
You feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders?
Are you suffering from an illness or disease?
Are you overweight or underweight?

If you said yes to any of these questions I can help. There is no
need to stress out one more moment. Learn how to make all the moments of your
life not only more bearable but enjoyable. Moments that you will look forward to
every day. Don’t you want that?

This is a slow process. Change….. One baby step at a
time.

So I will be introducing health, body, mind and soul technique
and tactics on slow trickle through this blog and my website. This information
is free. I want to help. But if you feel like you need more help please contact
me for my coaching expertise. You do not have to do it alone.
